Sprouts: Ages 2-3 with a caregiver

Nature-based preschool programs for children aged 5 and younger outside Washington, DC in Chevy Chase, MD

This 2-hour program offers an opportunity for a small group of two and three-year-olds to explore our nature sanctuary with their favorite adult and one of our nature school teachers. The class offers a balance of outdoor and indoor activities to give you a “preview” of our drop-off preschool classes. Classes meet every Friday, and each student attends class with a parent or caregiver. Applicants need to be 2 years of age by September 1.

This program is not being offered for the 2021/2022 school year.

Acorns: Ages 4 & under with a caregiver

Nature-based preschool programs for children aged 5 and younger outside Washington, DC in Chevy Chase, MD

This 75-minute program is designed to foster shared nature discovery for you and your children ages 4 & under. Classes meet once weekly during the school year and take place entirely outdoors on our 40-acre nature sanctuary. Each week families will take home a new process-based activity to support further learning together. At the beginning of the year, each student will receive their own “Acorns Box” with a set of art materials to engage in projects throughout the year. Younger siblings under 1 year of age are welcome to join at no additional cost. 50% sibling discounts are offered for families enrolling more than one child. Runs September 8, 2021-May 26, 2022. Tuition: $135/month, plus $75 application fee
Maximum class size: 10 families
